Cincinnati Reds Opening Day 2024 is upon us! Opening Day is a longstanding Cincinnati holiday, taking place on Thursday, March 28, when the Reds will take on the Washington Nationals at Great American Ballpark.

Cincinnati Reds Opening Day Details:

Tomorrow marks the 148th Opening Day in Cincinnati and the 105th Findlay Market Parade. The Grand Marshals of the parade are former Cincinnati Reds players Pokey Reese and Dmitri Young.

Pregame ceremonies start at 3:30 p.m. Reds legend Sean Casey will throw out the first pitch and fellow Reds icon George Foster will deliver the game ball. Game time is set for 4:10 p.m.

From 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the Reds Community Fund will be hosting a block party at The Banks with food and beverages available. The Naked Karate Girls will be performing and all proceeds go to the baseball and softball outreach programs funded by the Reds Community Fund.

We’re excited for the start of a new MLB season to see the likes of Elly De La Cruz, Spencer Steer, Hunter Greene, and the entire Reds roster!
